So far so good
By dtsm
Just arrived, along with competitive Skiva model. Antec is nicely packaged, 1 yr warranty, all 4 ports will power up iPad and other apple devices, plus my older BB and Samsung mobile phone.
It's about 25-30% larger than other 2 or 4 port units, and unlike most others that built in plug, this comes with a 3 foot power cord. Personally I find this a plus, although if compactness is required, go with Skiva.
I got mine when it was $21.86, price slightly higher now. But so far it's a keeper and replace my Scosche 2 port charger.

Just returned from 5 day trip to Spain. Used the Antec 24/7, charging two iPads, and two iPhones. The power cord was extremely useful as our hotel was stingy and only two power outlets. Piggybacked onto 10' extension cord with three outlets and my Cpap machine and pc.
Update April 2013 - have left on kitchen counter to charge 3 iPads and 3 iPhones. After several months, still going strong!

Not much to say but that I Love it!
By Dragonwolf
I ended up receiving it sooner than I thought so kudos to that.
As for the product. I don't see how there could be very few reviews on this charger. (Other than the fact that it seems to not be in stock very often.) Unlike other chargers this charger CAN charge 2 ipads if you need it to. It has 2x dedicated 2 amp usb ports, which is what the ipad needs to charge at the best speed. (That's 4 amps total between those 2 ports and there are 2x 1 amp usb ports for your iphone/ smartphones/ mp3 players (all ipods included.) Most wall chargers are 4 amps total, meaning 1x ipad at 2 amps leaving 2 amps remaining between the remaining 3 ports. Or the ipad charging at the slower rate of 1 amp and all ports having 1 amp available. Not this charger, it has dedicated amps per port and they are labeled pretty clearly once you get it and look at it. There is a total of 6 amps, and I haven't seen another charger capable of this so far.
I have yet to time any charges on my devices, but suffice it to say I haven't seen a drop in time, so it's equal at least to an ipad charger. And being able to charger 2 ipads at the same time? Awesome! I use it to charge my ipad mini (Which came with a weak 1 amp charger.) My Droid Bionic, and a 4800mAH external battery pack (Don't remember the brand right now. I have the ipad mini hooked into one of the 2 2 amp usb ports, my phone and battery pack hooked into the 2 1 amp ports. It doesn't heat up any more than any other standard charger when fully loaded on charging devices.
May be a con for others, but not for me and was actually a selling point. This charger does not plug directly into the wall. It has a power cord that plugs into the wall that then plugs into the charger. It was a selling point as it meant I could get my devices away from the wall a little more and set everything on a table. I plan on sometime making a sort of charging stand to mount this charger in. To help hide the cables and such. (It doesn't have mounts, I will probably just use stoppers of some sort, to keep it from moving inside the charging stand. But that is a whole different project.
As to the charger. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Personally I wish more chargers where made this way and am seriously considering buying a second one just in case they stop making these chargers. That way I have a backup when this one does die as all electronics eventually do.
If you are considering this charger, get it. It is worth it, and seems to be the most powerful charger out right now. The others do 4-4.1 amps and are stuck at the wall. This one does 6 amps total output and can even act as a sort of extension cable of sorts. If your in need of something now, that's fine, but honestly I wasn't, I just wanted to consolidate my chargers into one and this works beautifully. I couldn't be happier.

outputs 5A max
By Brookesy
Even though the description says 2*2A and 2*1A this can in fact only output a maximum of 5A at the same time. It says as much on the box. I kept it anyway, it's still good value for what it does.
