5Great product. Works well as described.

First of all, I disagree with first review stating that this unit is not weighted down and easy to get knocked off with the Note inserted. I set it up on my desk with the Note inserted, shook the desk violently and the whole thing stayed put. I had to intentionally push the top in order for it to fall back or face down.
Everything worked as advertised. Once the correct cable (it came with two sets of cables, one for power and one for data) is connected to the computer, instantly the Note is ready to communicate with the computer.
Yes. the battery slot accepts only the stock battery. Heavy duty battery such as the Anker 2700mAh will not fit in. For that, I gave this unit a 4 star instead of 5.

Update:
With a little bit of force(didn't break anything), I was able to insert the Anker 2700mAh battery into the battery slot and charging.
5 stars!!!

4Great product, works as advertised

This product works well with my Samsung Galaxy Note. The phone slides in and out easily. The only problem is that there is no weight to the charger and with the Note inserted, the whole unit is a bit top heavy. One slight bump knocks the unit over. So don't be a clumsy oaf with this charger and your Galaxy Note! Otherwise, no issues. Now they need to invent a unit that works with a larger battery.....

150 50 one worked one did not
By Carol A. Anderson
We bought 2. After about 2 months one failed to charge the Galaxy Note i717.
Then it ruined the charging port on phone. Then the charger for extra battery quit working. So a waste of time and money and I had to pay to get my charge port repaired. $50.

The other one we bought for the GS3 is still working.

I would avoid these if I were you.
