Transcendent aesthetics AND great customer service!!

I would have given the Zebrawood Wedge a 5 stars on the beauty and simple functionality alone, however because of my experience in trying to return it, I'd now add another star if I could.
The dock arrived within 3 days, and it was a beautiful piece of craftsmanship, well packaged for shipping and flawless in execution. I immediately put my phone on it and was stunned that it did not fit!
As these things go, I had recently purchased the black Amazon-brand data/charging cable [AmazonBasics USB A to Lightning Compatible Cable] for the iPhone 5, and sadly, the cable slot in the base of the dock could not accommodate the width of that connector.
I filled out a return with Amazon indicating the reason for the return, and within an hour received an email from the WedgeDock's maker, Eric. He forwarded a YouTube instructional set-up video but also noted that the cable slot in the dock was designed to fit ONLY the width of the standard Apple connector, which as it turns out, is about 1/8th inch narrower than the Amazon cable.
I swapped cables, and everything fit perfectly! I wrote back to Eric, thanking him for the advice and letting him know that the return was now, of course, not necessary, but also inquiring if he could make a second cradle for use in my office that would accommodate that different connector. We exchanged several emails on the actual measurements required, and he informed me that there would be no extra charge for the customization. Needless to say, the second one is on order now, this time in the gorgeous Ebony & Ash combination.
Thanks Eric, for the quiet beauty of your work, and equally importantly, kudos for the rarity of providing the great customer service of listening to my needs and working with me to get me exactly what I wanted.

Great product and even better service!

I got the limited edition Blue Mahoe. The dock is beautifully made. I had an issue with the fit of my lighting cable (original cable from Apple) in the groove. Apparently, the cable has some variation from the norm. Emailed Eric (owner), told him about the issue and he gladly paid for the return shipping to fix it even though it was not his fault. What a fantastic service! Will definitely shop here again.

Beautiful, well-made & iphone 5 charging stand

With very limited options available for iphone 5 charging stands, I purchased this one because it was beautiful and functional, not to mention anything else would have required the adapter and/or for the phone to be plugged-in, but laying to the side of the docking station/charger. I also didn't really care for or need a speaker for my iphone 5.
When I received this wooden docking wedge, I was so impressed with the craftsmanship of this item and then I realized that each wedge is hand-made. Just beautiful. You can't find many things that are hand-made these days.
It's not only a docking station that works very well for charging your iphone 5, but it looks beautiful and adds to the decor of your room.
Perfectly made for what it's meant to be used for, high-quality craftsmanship and unique. A+++
