Sturdy and functional basic dock

This desktop dock for the HTC Sensation is basic and simple, but functional. It doesn't quite guide the phone onto the USB jack, so it takes a bit of effort to make sure it slips into place, but it's not particularly difficult. The base is weighted enough that tapping the screen (I use my phone as my alarm clock, and snooze a lot) doesn't shift it around at all.
The dock comes with a single USB Cable, and a 0.5Amp USB wall charger (Wall Wart style).
One important point to note is that this dock does not trigger "Dock mode" on the phone, which is a bit of a disappointment, since all it requires is the addition of a five-cent resistor. However, if you're handy with a soldering iron, adding a 48.7kOhm resistor between pins 4 and 5 is trivial. There are a total of four screws holding this together (quite securely, incidentally), two visible, and two under the frontmost foot pads.

Great price, a bit basic

PRO: Inexpensive, decent quality, comes with charger and USB cable.
CON: Does not trigger dock mode, does not slide in very easily, requires just the right lining up.

no automatic dock mode

This dock is fantastic except for one thing. The phone is not triggered to enter dock mode when you place it in the dock.
Other than that, I highly recommend it.
