Note: After connecting the dock, the upper and lower sides of the TV/Monitor's screen may be cut off. In this case, adjust the TV/ Monitor in the settings menu on your TV. Consult your TV owner's manual.

It's inexpensive and it works well, but doesn't fit with a case

Aesthetics
This dock is basically a much less expensive version of Samsung's Smart Dock.I have the official Smart Dock, and for the most part, the two devices are equal. The build quality, feel, and weight of the Samsung unit are much better, but that isn't to say that the Aerb unit is lacking in any of those areas. As someone who owns the "Titanium Gray" Galaxy Note II, I actually appreciate that the Aerb unit is black and matches my phone much better than the all-white Samsung dock.
Compatibility
I've only tried this with my Galaxy Note II and it worked well, with one caveat. If you have a case on your Note II, it just won't fit at all. You have to remove your case in order to use it with the Aerb multimedia dock. The official Samsung unit fits comfortable with my case on (I have a Seidio Surface case for reference), which makes a world of difference for me as I am not willing to use my phone without a case. If you use your phone naked, then the Aerb unit should be fine, but if you use a case, you would have to remove it each time you dock the phone.
I can't be for sure on how well it fits with the Galaxy S4, but I have a feeling the situation would be about the same.
Functionality
The main difference in terms of functionality is simply that the Aerb unit has 2 USB ports whereas the official Samsung dock has 3 USB ports. In my opinion, 2 USB ports is plenty for most people's purposes, and I'm sure you could hook up a USB hub if you really needed more ports. I don't think I normally use all 3 ports on my official Samsung dock anyway.
Apart from the difference of 1 USB port, the Aerb dock is similarly functional, and considering the difference in price, I'd say the Aerb unit is a much better alternative for those who don't want to drop $70-$100 for the official Samsung dock. I plugged everything in, and it all worked as expected. Mouse, keyboard, and USB storage were all recognized immediately and worked well while they were connected.
Value
For the price, I love the Aerb dock. The only thing that prevents it from being perfect in my eyes is the lack of compatibility with cases. Otherwise, this dock is a great value and anyone who wants to hook their Note II or S4 up to their monitor or TV and browse the web or watch videos. I've used my Note II to play 1080p mkv videos from a USB flash drive using the Smart Dock, and the Aerb dock would perform similarly for that function. I also recommend using the app "Set Orientation" To change your orientation to landscape so that all your apps run in landscape when you dock your phone.
Overall, I'd recommend this dock, especially since it's a lot cheaper than the official Samsung dock.

Well worth the money to me!

The product was well packaged, and shipping was fast. The dock connectors were a little loose so I had to move my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 3) around a little to get the HDMI signal to my television. Overall, I am happy with the product. The product worked with my wireless keyboard and mouse flawlessly. Does what it claims and does it well, all at a competitive price pointWould recommend! Would buy again!
