Desktop Cradle works great

The Desktop Cradle for the Casio G'zOne Commando 4G LTE smartphone works great. Verizon part number VZW811DTC, the cradle uses the charger cord supplied with the phone. Using the cradle avoids having to open & close the waterproof charging port every time the phone needs to be charged. At night just drop the phone in the cradle and it charges automatically and also starts the clock app to function as your bedside alarm clock. I will state that you can buy this much cheaper directly from Verizon for $29.99 with free shipping. With a military discount I only paid $24.50 for my desktop cradle thru Verizon.

Works just like last generation cradle. Will work with extended battery. You will need new charger dock with new generation phone, contacts are in a different location.

Works great, overpriced for a piece of plastic, doesn't work with any case on phone

The cradle/charger works great - if you don't have a case on the phone. I have a hard case that has a slot to expose the charging area on the phone, but with the case on the phone it does not fit into the cradle. Taking the case off every day so it will fit in the charger seems kind of dumb. So, I have to pick either: (1) case to protect the phone while I use it; or (2) cradle so I don't have to open and close the charging port every day (I'm worried the port will eventually leak and water will get into the phone which is why I got the cradle in the first place). Not a good choice in my opinion.
The cradle/charger does work with the extended battery as well as regular battery, and phone goes into desktop mode (shows big clock) while charging which is great. Nonskid padding on bottom of cradle keeps it from sliding around on the desk, good design feature.
Other note - Verizon is always out of this item, seems overpriced at Verizon store for a piece of plastic that basically just holds the phone (you need to plug the wall charger that came with the phone in to the cradle for it to work), REALLY overpriced here.
