Excellent customer service!

This is actually an update to a not too stellar review I placed after I had problems with the charger. After a couple months, I'd have to jiggle my iPhone in the dock to get the charging light to charge. Frustrated, I left a lousy review. The reason I was so disappointed was because I had really liked the dock, along with the fact that the socket would slide back and forth, accommodating my iPhone in its case.
Well, RND contacted me soon after my review and said that my problem was rare and very unusual, and immediately sent me a brand new one! Now THAT'S customer service! I plugged it in and all is well! For the price it is a really nice dock (backed by a really nice company!)

Stop Charging After 6 Months

I needed a cheap dock for my desk at work. Previously, I was putting my 4S on the surface of my desk and connecting it with the USB cord. I decided that I wanted something that would take my phone off my desk and keep it charged. I received this dock today and here are my first impressions:
Pros:
- Connects to the computer via included mini-USB cable. The product description wasn't especially clear on that point. It's a pro for me as it frees up a 30-pin USB cable for other uses.
- The 30-pin connector moves back and forth to accommodate different iDevices. (I didn't catch this feature initially.) This helps provide rear support for your iDevice.
Cons/Gripes:
- No line out which doesn't bother me. I'm listening to my tunes via earbuds anyway and I've yet to use the line-out in other docks I've had.
- Deep 30-pin Connector. It looks like it's designed to work with bumper cases and such. My naked 4S sits a bit high on the connector but not alarmingly so.
********** Six Months Later ************
The dock does not charge the phone anymore. I get the weird thing where my battery is at 85% and the "plug" icon is on my phone. Removing and putting the phone back on doesn't work. I plugged the standard 30-pin USB cord into the same USB port and it works so it look like the dock is failing.
It's sad when tech doesn't last.

Prefect fit with bumper on iPhone 4 and 4S

This stand holds the iPhone 4, as well as the 4S, with bumpers, and it charges and syncs perfectly with the included USB cable. The price is right, and the delivery speed was as promised.
